Business Verification (KYC) and Anti-Fraud Statement — Pratick Auth
Last updated: 20 July 2026
Pratick Auth, operated by PRATICK, provides messaging infrastructure that touches two sensitive areas: communication with the public and prepaid payments. We therefore verify every business before granting production access. This page explains what we check, why, and how your documents are handled.
Why we verify businesses
- To protect message recipients: verification deters fraudsters, phishers, and spammers from using our platform to reach the public.
- To protect our clients: a verified ecosystem preserves the delivery reputation and channel quality that legitimate businesses depend on.
- To meet our obligations: as a platform operating prepaid accounts, we apply proportionate know-your-customer and anti-fraud controls consistent with applicable Togolese and regional requirements.
What we ask for
Typically: business registration documents (e.g., RCCM extract or equivalent), the identity document of the account representative, tax identification where applicable, and accurate contact and billing information. We may request additional information where the initial review raises questions or where required for higher usage tiers.
How review works
Documents are submitted through the portal or API and reviewed by our operations team. Until approval, accounts can explore the portal and use sandbox testing but cannot send live messages. On approval, production API keys are issued. We may re-verify accounts periodically or upon material changes (ownership, activity profile, risk signals).
How your documents are protected
KYC documents are stored in private storage that is not publicly accessible, retrievable only by authorized personnel through authenticated administrative systems, and retained only as long as required by our legal and anti-fraud obligations. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Ongoing monitoring
Verification is not only a gate at signup. We monitor traffic quality and platform signals to detect fraud, artificially inflated traffic, and abuse, and we act on what we find, up to suspension and termination as described in our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
